Many patrons, like Pierre-Antoine, rave about the unique blend of comforting familiarity and gourmet finesse that characterizes the menu.
The brunch offerings stand out, with recommendations like the L&B breakfast special and full English breakfast, which Natasha Y found delightful, while Katarina Argirovic enjoyed the fresh ingredients in the green breakfast. Not to be missed are the red velvet pancakes and corn fritter stack, praised by Kat McCullum for their indulgent flavors. Desserts also don’t disappoint, with pancakes that are scrumptiously light and perfectly sweet.

Forget all the big breakfast/brunch names in the area with 1h queues... What you get here is true home cuisine but with a level of detail from the chef you only get in more flashy and expensive spots. A true gem.

Cute cozy spot for brunch! We’ve been there twice in a week and the food and service were great both times. Highly recommend the L&B breakfast special and full English breakfast. The pancakes are super good too but I would recommend splitting it with a friend because it’s really filling for just 1 person. All in all a solid spot for brunch!

Don’t miss this place! Small but cosy, perfect for breakfast. We had a great table by the window - great view and you feel tucked in. Amazing food! We had green breakfast (super fresh and tender spinach and broccoli), breakfast special and to finish off we split the pancakes - they were tender and not too sweet, perfect for morning meal! Also the staff is super polite.

5 stars Absolutely lovely little spot tucked away in Notting Hill. Popped in for a quick bite and was genuinely impressed. The hot chocolate was proper—rich, velvety, and just the right amount of indulgent. I had the Green Breakfast as well, and it was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that charming, cosy feel you hope for in a neighbourhood cafe. A cracking find—will definitely be back!

Popped in for brunch on a rainy Saturday morning. We got there around 10:15 and waited 10 minutes for a table for 2. We had the red velvet pancakes and corn fritter stack, both of which are must haves! The drinks were warm and rich, perfect to fight off the dreary weather. The decor is so cute and the restaurant is very clean. The staff were so sweet! *UPDATE 11/2024* They have now expanded into another space in Portobello Road next to the original. The menus differ between the places so read carefully. We dined at 41 and, again, everything was excellent. The Corn Fritter Stack remains sensational but the English breakfast was delightful. Their Chai Latte is one of my favorites in London. I adore this place and look forward to returning soon.

Perfect! Loved Lowry & Baker. First time visitors and it was a real find. Even though busy, service was impeccable, food was served quickly and was simply delicious. Lovely coffee. Perfectly cooked poached eggs. Divine crispy Parma ham, best French fries. Felt lucky we got a table outside and quickly. Clearly was meant to be. Nothing to fault.

Amazing little cafe, quite busy on the weekends for a reason! The service was friendly and the food was delicious. Make sure you get a cookie on your way out too - to die for. 10/10 will be coming back!

Such a beautiful find in Notting Hill! The food is excellent and the portion sizes are good - and the cakes are AMAZING. Gutted they don't give out the recipe of the home made lemon loaf but I will definitely keep going back for it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is lovely, especially now the weather is improving and you can sit outside and enjoy the sun as well. I'll be back again soon!
